  • "Ticket" means any valid ticket or wristband that grants you access to the Event.

  • "You" means you as the holder of the Ticket and "Your" shall be read accordingly.

2. BASIC INFORMATION

  • The information on the detourdisco.com website is essential reading before attending the Event.

  • Other essential information will be sent to You via the email address you provided. It is Your responsibility to share that information with any person named on any of the Tickets You purchase.

  • All Tickets are sold subject to these Terms and Conditions. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully prior to purchase and raise any queries with the Promoter prior to purchase. Purchase of any Ticket constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions on Your behalf and on behalf of any person for whom You are purchasing Tickets.

  • It is Your responsibility to ensure that any person for whom You purchase a Ticket is made aware of these Terms and Conditions.

  • You must be at least 18 years old at the time of the Event to attend.

3. VENUE AND SERVICES

  • The Event takes place within premises operated by third parties. While the Promoter selects venues and partners with reasonable care, the Promoter does not own, manage or control the Venue or the delivery of services provided there. The quality, safety and provision of facilities, food, beverages, accommodation and other amenities are the responsibility of the Venue and its operators. The Promoter is not liable for issues arising from those services and any concerns must be raised directly with the Venue.

  • A Ticket provides access to the Event and its entertainment programme only. It is not a travel, accommodation or hospitality package. Unless expressly stated at the time of purchase, the Ticket price does not include accommodation, meals, beverages, transport or other services provided by the Venue or any third party.

  • Certain activities or experiences associated with the Event may be delivered by independent third-party providers. Where this is the case, those providers are responsible for the operation and delivery of their services. Any arrangements, participation and associated risks are governed by the provider’s own terms and conditions. Where the Promoter includes or facilitates access to such activities, it does so as curator of the programme only. The Promoter does not own, operate or control those services. Participation may be subject to availability, capacity limits or separate booking requirements.

  • Transport to and from the Venue and any transport for day trips are not included in the ticket price. There is no vehicle access to the venue entrance.

  • Complimentary food may be served during the Event by independent third-party partners (e.g. food trucks or sponsors). These providers are solely responsible for their own licensing, food hygiene standards, and safety compliance. Nothing in the Promoter’s involvement in hosting the Event shall make the Promoter responsible for the preparation, safety or service of food or beverages supplied by independent operators.

  • Where the Promoter provides recommendations, introductions, links, guidance or assistance in arranging third-party services, this is done for convenience only. The Promoter does not own, operate, control or supervise those providers. Any contract formed is solely between You and the third-party supplier and will be subject to their terms and conditions. The Promoter accepts no liability for the acts, errors, omissions, delays or failures of those providers.

  • Any venues, restaurants, bars, attractions or experiences mentioned in marketing materials, guides, emails, social media or conversations are suggestions only and are not part of the Event or included within the Ticket price. Availability, operation, pricing, quality and safety of those locations are outside the Promoter’s control.

  • Attendance at any non-Event location is undertaken entirely at Your own risk.

4. SAFETY & CONDUCT

  • You must comply with any and all instructions given to You by the Promoter and/or Venue staff.

  • You must not leave the designated Event spaces, or attempt to access any private or staff-only areas.

  • You must take care on any staircases, rooftops, terraces or other high areas, and stay a safe distance (at least one metre) from any edges. Some terraces and rooftop spaces have low walls that may not protect you from falls.

  • Anti-social behaviour and illegal activities, including the use, supply, and possession of illegal substances, will not be tolerated and You will be ejected from the Event without refund.

  • Prolonged exposure to loud music can damage your hearing. We strongly recommend that attendees use appropriate ear protection, such as earplugs, while attending the Event to mitigate the risk of hearing damage.

  • Community groups (e.g., ride-sharing WhatsApp) are unmoderated. Participation is at your own risk; we don’t vet members and accept no responsibility for arrangements made there.

  • Smoke, haze, strobe and other lighting effects are in use; if you have photosensitive conditions, please take precautions.

  • We strongly recommend attendees take out suitable travel insurance.

5. TICKETS, REFUNDS, AND CANCELLATIONS

  • All ticket prices include Italian VAT as required under local tax laws. No UK VAT is charged on ticket sales.

  • The Promoter is responsible for collecting and remitting Italian VAT to the relevant Italian tax authorities.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to adjust ticket prices in the future to account for changes in applicable taxes or tax regulations.

  • The Promoter shall not be held liable for any future tax claims, audits, or investigations related to VAT, provided that all reasonable efforts were made to comply with applicable tax laws.

  • Only customers holding a valid Ticket, purchased through detourdisco.com or an approved agent, will be admitted to the Event.

  • A Ticket grants admission to the Event and its entertainment programme only. It is not a travel, accommodation or hospitality package. Any additional experiences, services or activities are separate and are included only where expressly confirmed at the point of purchase.

  • Tickets are not transferable and may be personalised to the named ticket holder.

  • Upon purchase, please check Tickets carefully as mistakes cannot always be rectified after purchase. Tickets are not issued on a sale or return basis and refunds will not be made on returned Tickets unless provided for under these Terms and Conditions.

  • The Promoter will not be responsible for any Ticket that is lost, stolen, or destroyed.

  • All Tickets are sold on a strictly non-refundable basis except as expressly set out in these Terms and Conditions. Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded unless the Event is cancelled or there has been a Material Alteration to the Event.

  • If the Event is cancelled, the Promoter’s liability shall be limited to a refund of the face value of the Ticket only. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any other costs or expenses incurred by the ticket holder, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, hospitality, visas, insurance or any other personal arrangements.

  • A Material Alteration means a change which, in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion, makes the Event as a whole materially different to the Event that purchasers of tickets, taken generally, could reasonably expect. For the avoidance of doubt, the following shall not constitute a Material Alteration:

    • changes to the line-up, billed artists, speakers or performers

    • changes to performance or opening times

    • changes to the programme, schedule, activities or running order

    • adverse weather conditions

    • interruption or alteration of any part of the Event due to safety, licensing or operational reasons

    • the withdrawal or unavailability of advertised partners, suppliers or venues

    • changes to seating or viewing arrangements

    • any reduction in the duration of any part of the Event

    • the replacement of any element with a reasonably comparable alternative

  • The Promoter reserves the right, where reasonably necessary, to change the venue, site, city, or immediate geographic area of the Event. The Promoter may also relocate or substitute individual elements of the programme between venues where reasonably required. Such a change shall not constitute a Material Alteration provided that the overall character, scale and substance of the Event remains reasonably comparable. In these circumstances, Tickets shall remain valid and refunds shall not be due, although the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, offer options to ticket holders.

  • The rescheduling of the Event, or any part of it, to a date within six (6) months of the originally advertised dates shall not constitute a Material Alteration. Tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date.

  • Refunds or exchanges will not be considered where a request is made within 7 days of the Event, where the Ticket holder is able but unwilling to attend, or where circumstances are personal to the Ticket holder, including but not limited to illness (unless covered by independent insurance), travel disruption, work commitments, relationship changes or financial circumstances. Nothing in this clause shall affect any statutory rights.

  • To enquire about an exchange or refund email hello@detourdisco.com stating the reason for the exchange or refund.

  • Refunds should be obtained no later than 90 days after the Event. In the circumstance that you are eligible for a refund, please refer to information at detourdisco.com or email hello@detourdisco.com.

  • Tickets will not be refunded where they have been used to gain entry to the Event, or where You are able to, and choose to, attend a postponed Event.

  • Ownership or possession of a Ticket does not confer any rights (by implication or otherwise) on You to use, alter, copy, or otherwise deal with any of the symbols, trademarks, logos and/or intellectual property appearing on the Ticket.

  • Tickets are personal revocable licences and shall at all times remain the property of the Promoter and subject to these Terms and Conditions. The only authorised resale platform is Tixel; resale elsewhere may result in voided entry without refund.

  • All restrictions set out herein, including age restrictions, may be subject to the terms of any Event licence or conditions of entry imposed by the Venues or local licensing authorities and therefore are subject to change. Further restrictions may be imposed by the Venue.

  • We advise that you check in advance of Ticket purchase that the age restrictions set out herein continue to apply. In order to attend Detour Discotheque You must be at least 18 years of age – proof of identity and age must be provided in order to obtain entry to the Event. The following ID can be used as proof of age for entering the site: current passport; current driver’s license or provisional license.

  • Add-ons (e.g., Saturday Feast) are non-refundable and non-transferable, except at our discretion; if an add-on is cancelled by the provider, our liability is limited to the face value of that add-on.

6. LIABILITY

  • The Promoter will not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, delay or expense suffered by You unless caused by the negligence of the Promoter.

  • Where liability is established, the Promoter’s total liability to You shall not exceed the price paid for the Ticket.

  • Without limitation, the Promoter is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third parties including, without limitation, the Venue, accommodation providers, caterers, transport providers, tour operators or any other supplier. Any claims relating to those parties must be addressed directly to them.

  • Attending the Event involves inherent risks including, without limitation, risks associated with historic buildings, stairs, roof terraces, alcohol consumption and exposure to loud music. By attending, You acknowledge and accept those risks.

  • The Promoter shall not be liable for personal arrangements made by You in connection with the Event, including travel, accommodation or hospitality, nor for any loss of enjoyment or wasted expenditure.

  • The Promoter shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss.

  • You agree to indemnify and hold the Promoter, its officers, employees and agents harmless against any claim arising from Your acts or omissions, including damage to property, injury to others or breach of these Terms.

This includes recordings made for security purposes or for the safety of attendees, as well as for promotional, archival, broadcast, or commercial use. You further agree that such recordings may be used, without limitation, by the Promoter and its partners, sponsors, and affiliated third parties, including for marketing, advertising, and promotional campaigns.

  • Due to legal artist performance rights and royalty obligations, You cannot bring any video or audio recording equipment or any camera which is over 35mm or with a detachable lens onto the Venues site.

  • You will not be allowed to enter the site if You bring equipment that, at the discretion of our security, infringes on these rules. Searching may be a condition of entry to the Event. The Promoter reserves the right to conduct security searches and confiscate any item which in the opinion of the Promoter or Venue may cause danger or disruption, be a health and safety risk, not be suitable to be taken into the Event or is one of the items not permitted in the Venues as detailed in these Terms and Conditions. Anyone found in possession of illegal substances or contraband goods will be refused admission to or ejected from the Venue and may also be liable for prosecution. Any items found that may be used in an illegal or offensive manner will be confiscated, regardless of whether or not the item itself is illegal.

  • You shall not bring all or any of the following into the Venue: fireworks, laser pens, laser equipment, animals.
