The Lost Disco – Terms and Conditions
By purchasing a ticket for The Lost Disco, you agree to the following terms.
1. The event
The Lost Disco takes place on:
Friday 30 October 2026, 7pm–midnight; and
Saturday 31 October 2026, 7pm–midnight.
Each ticket is valid only for the date stated on it. Tickets for the two evenings are not interchangeable unless agreed by the organiser.
The Lost Disco is a Detour Discotheque event organised by The Distant Company Limited.
2. Secret location
The event will take place in a crypt venue in SE17, South London.
The full address and arrival information will be sent by email approximately 48 hours before the event. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that you are doing so without knowing the venue’s precise address.
It is your responsibility to provide a valid email address, check your inbox and junk folder, and contact hello@detourdisco.com if you have not received the location details within 24 hours of the event.
The location, character of the venue, journey time or transport arrangements will not constitute grounds for a refund, provided the event takes place as advertised in SE17 or at a reasonably comparable alternative venue in South London.
3. Tickets, refunds and resale
Tickets provide admission to the event on the date and during the hours stated. Food, drinks and any other purchases are not included unless expressly stated.
Tickets are non-refundable if you change your mind, are unable to attend, arrive too late, fail to locate the venue, or are refused entry or removed for breaching these terms.
Tickets may only be resold through Tixel, the event’s authorised resale platform. The availability and operation of resale through Tixel are subject to the organiser’s discretion, and the organiser does not guarantee that resale will be enabled or that a ticket listed for resale will be purchased.
Tickets resold or transferred through any other platform or method may be cancelled or refused entry.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
4. Changes to the event
The organiser may make reasonable changes to the venue, timings, DJs, performers, programme, layout or format where operational, safety, licensing or other circumstances make this necessary.
A change of venue or postcode, a minor alteration to the advertised times, or a change to the programme or performers will not automatically entitle ticket holders to a refund, provided the event remains substantially as advertised.
If a change is so significant that the event is materially different from what was purchased, any refund rights will be considered in accordance with applicable consumer law.
5. Entry and conduct
This is an 18+ event. Valid photographic ID may be required, and anyone unable to provide acceptable proof of age may be refused entry without a refund.
Entry is subject to venue capacity, licensing conditions and security requirements. Security searches may be conducted as a condition of entry.
Illegal substances, weapons and anything considered dangerous or seriously disruptive are prohibited. The venue and organiser may refuse entry or remove anyone who appears excessively intoxicated, behaves abusively or dangerously, or risks the safety or enjoyment of others.
Re-entry is not guaranteed and is at the venue’s discretion.
Guests must follow reasonable instructions given by venue, security and event staff.
The venue is close to residential properties. Guests must leave quietly, avoid gathering outside and respect the venue’s neighbours when arriving and departing.
6. Costumes and respect for the venue
The Lost Disco is a Halloween costume party with a disco theme, and guests are encouraged to dress accordingly.
The crypt forms part of a working church. Guests must respect the religious and community use of the building.
The organiser and venue reserve the right to refuse entry or require the removal or alteration of any costume, clothing, prop or imagery reasonably considered threatening, discriminatory, grossly offensive or deliberately disrespectful towards the church, its faith or other guests.
Costume props must not present a safety risk or be capable of being mistaken for a genuine weapon. The organiser and venue’s reasonable decision on whether a costume or prop is suitable will be final.
7. Health and safety
This is a standing nightclub event in an unusual underground venue. It will include loud music, reduced lighting, flashing or moving lights and potentially crowded conditions.
Access to the venue door is via a sloping ramp. This may become slippery during or following wet weather. Guests should take particular care, wear suitable footwear and follow any instructions from venue staff.
Prolonged exposure to loud music can damage hearing. Guests should take appropriate breaks from the sound system and use hearing protection where necessary.
Guests are responsible for taking reasonable care of themselves and others. Climbing on furniture, walls, ledges or parts of the venue not intended for public use is prohibited.
Anyone with accessibility requirements or concerns about whether the venue is suitable for them should contact hello@detourdisco.com before purchasing a ticket.
8. Photography and filming
Photography and filming may take place during the event.
By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear incidentally in photographs or footage used to document and promote Detour Discotheque and its events. Where reasonably practicable, anyone who does not wish to be included should speak to a member of the event team.
Professional photography or filming equipment is not permitted without prior written approval.
9. Personal belongings and liability
Personal belongings remain your responsibility. The organiser and venue are not responsible for loss, theft or damage unless caused by their negligence or another liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the organiser will not be liable for travel, accommodation or other additional costs incurred in connection with the event.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot legally be excluded.
10. Cancellation
If an evening is cancelled in its entirety and does not take place, ticket holders for that evening will be entitled to a refund of the ticket price and any mandatory booking fee charged by the organiser.
The organiser’s liability for cancellation will otherwise be limited to the amount paid for the affected ticket. Travel, accommodation and other associated costs will not be reimbursed.
A rescheduled, relocated or reasonably modified event is not considered cancelled, although your statutory rights remain unaffected.
11. General
These terms may be updated where reasonably necessary for legal, safety, licensing or operational reasons. Any change which materially affects ticket holders will be communicated using the email address supplied when booking.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
